From 11th to 14th November 2008 the hybridica exhibition took place in Munich for the first time. It ran parallel with the well-established electronica show as a new international exhibition displaying the complete process chain of the manufacture of hybrid assemblies. Söhnergroup supported the idea of this new event from the beginning and we were among the first companies to get registered as exhibitor.
The first hybridica can be characterized as highly successful: more than 130 exhibitors from 10 countries were visited by about 8.000 guests. Our stand was also visited very well. Further to many current customers, especially guests from Continental locations, several new contacts could be initiated.
A further highlight of the Söhnergroup participation was our presentation at the hybridica forum which was held by Mr. Driftmeyer about „Modular High Temperature Mechatronics for Gearbox Applications“ which was regarded as highly interesting and met with approval.
The responsible project managers of Munich Exhibition also came to a positive conclusion about the first hybridica. They underlined the professional presentation of the exhibitors, which considerably contributed to the pleasant atmosphere in the hybridica hall.
We are now looking forward to the second hybridica next year (2010).
